Copyright & Takedowns
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Meezy respects the rights of recipe creators, photographers, and everyone else whose work appears on or through the Service, and we expect our users to do the same. This page explains where content on Meezy comes from and how to ask us to remove something.
Where recipes and photos come from
- Some recipes in Meezy's library were collected from publicly available recipe websites. Each credits its source with a link to the original page, and some recipe photos are loaded directly from the original site rather than copied to our servers.
- Recipes and photos you add yourself (including by importing a link) are your responsibility; see Section 5 of our Terms of Service.
- Recipes, text, and photos remain the property of their owners. Meezy does not claim ownership of other people's content.
Report a copyright problem
If you believe something on Meezy infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent:
Solo Group LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent
382 N Lemon Ave #181, Walnut, CA 91789
Email: support@solokitchen.org
Please include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email, and your signature (a typed name is fine).
- A description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
- The exact address (URL) or a clear description of where the material appears on Meezy, so we can find it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We review notices promptly. Where a notice is valid we remove or disable access to the material and tell the person who posted it. We may also remove content we believe infringes someone's rights without a notice. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, email us with your name and contact details, a description of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which Solo Group LLC can be found). We may restore the material unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Other concerns
For anything else about content on Meezy, including trademark, privacy, or safety, email support@solokitchen.org. Reports of objectionable content inside the app are handled through the Report button described in our Community Rules.
